In the Netherlands

After a long silence finally a new blog post, this time for our friends abroad. We have returned to our home town and enjoy being with friends and family. After a few weeks it started snowing so we were forced to adjust rapidly to the climate. The snow turned all into wonderful white and we enjoyed walking in the forests with the children.

Last two weeks the snow has all melted and due to that water levels are very high, we live near the river Rhine and the natural flood areas are completely full and some roads are flooded, we hope the dikes will hold.

Other than that we are doing well and we started working, Herma in her own practice as Physio and Erni supporting her doing the admin stuff etc. and taking care for the children. Janne and Erik enjoy roaming through the garden, going to school and seeing their grand parents. Erik seems to miss Nepal most, all toy cars and planes go to or come from Nepal, and after a few weeks of uneasiness he now seems to be happy with the new situation.
